Little Mix have confessed that they didn’t realise just how many fans they had in America.
The girl group released their debut single ‘Wings’ in America earlier this year, with the song performing strongly on iTunes despite the initial lack of promotion.
“We saw on Twitter how many fans we had, but we didn’t realise until we went over there,” Perrie Edwards told Digital Spy. “It was just overwhelming.”
Little Mix will release their first studio album DNA Stateside on May 28, but haven’t changed the collection much for the US audience.
“We’re going to add the Missy Elliott version of ‘How Ya Doin’?’, but we absolutely love DNA so we didn’t want to change it too much,” Leigh-Anne Pinnock explained.
The group have teamed up with the rapper for their latest single, but have yet to meet the star to perform the track together.
“We go back over to America in two weeks, so hopefully we will see her when we go over there,” Jesy Nelson said.
Pinnock added: “Eventually we want to do a tour in America – that would be incredible – so if she was to come on stage for that, that would be insane. Can you imagine?”
