Little Mix could be starring in their own US reality show, as they continue in their quest to crack the US charts. The girl band who have a growing loyal fan-base across the pond revealed their plans saying: “We’ve always said we wanted to do it,” after performing their latest single ‘How Ya Doin?’ on Daybreak Thursday morning.
The popular girl band could be following in the steps of their predecessors The Saturdays, who had their own E! reality series in the US. As rumours circulated over the last few months that Chasing The Saturdays is to be given the axe, perhaps Little Mix’s show could be good timing.
Speaking to hosts Lorainne Kelly and Aled Jones, the girls explained they hope a fly-the-wall show could help their fans connect with them more.
Fans may be hopeful fior a future cameo from One Direction’s, Zayne Malik as long-term girlfriend Perrie Edwards seemed enthusiastic about the idea of a show.
“We’ve always said we wanted to do it. It could be called A Little Bit Of Little Mix or something like that.”
She added: “We’ve always done video diaries for the fans, so this would be an extension of that.”
Band mate Jesy Nelson also seemed optimistic about the idea claiming: “I feel like the fans just get to know your personality a little bit better.”
The group who shot to fame during 2011 X Factor, also revealed that they are devastated at recent reports claiming Sharon Osbourne could be taking over from N-Dubz singer and mentor Tulisa Contostavlos on the panel of the ITV1 show.
Perrie said: ‘I love Sharon but Tulisa is an absolute legend. We’re team Tulisa all the way.’
We hope the girls put talk into action, we would love to see that reality show!
