Little Mix are a British girlband who have come first in the UK talent show X Factor. The show has founded many acts such as Alexandra Burke, JLS & Leona Lewis. Little Mix (made up of Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock & Perrie Edwards) became the first ever band to win the X Factor. The girls performed a variety of songs from Nicki Minaj to En Vogue. The girls are now signed to Simon Cowell”s record label SyCo and have released their debut single Cannonball, a cover of Damien Rice’s hit single. DNA Tour Day 15 - High Quality images and videos of Little Mix Live in London

Take a look at a review This Is Somerset did from a previous Little Mix gig from Bristol. The gig was given a 6/10 rating.

Colston Hall is becoming a well-worn pit-stop on the route to fame of X Factor starlets. In recent years we have seen JLS and Jedward grace this stage. Here, it was the turn of 2011 winners Little Mix.

Little Mix are a four-piece girl band made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall who hold the distinction of being the only group to have won the ITV talent show.

Signed by Simon Cowell’s Syco record label, this is Little Mix’s first UK tour and endearingly they still retain the rabbit-in-the-headlights look that they can’t quite believe that this is happening to them.

The demographic that Little Mix appeals to could be not just seen but heard, with ear-splitting screams from the predominantly young girls in the audience who had made banners and cheered when the empowering messages appeared on the screens behind their heroes.

This screen was an interesting addition to proceedings. As if the group themselves, their live band or dancers were not enough to keep the attention of their young fans, throughout the show there were videos of the foursome.

Perhaps these were just as a reminder that the same four in the flesh here in Bristol had appeared on our television screens.
There were four sets of costumes in this 80-minute set, including a cape for Edwards and at least one bow tie for Nelson, who told us in one video that she owns hundreds.

Among a few too many album fillers was an enjoyable medley of girl band songs, including TLC’s No Scrubs and Bootylicious by Destiny’s Child, which brought Little Mix’s voices sharply into focus.

There was also a cover of Ring Ring Ring by last year’s BrisFest headliners De La Soul.

Among Little Mix’s own best songs were their most recent single Change Your Life and Wings, so good that they performed it once in their main set and then again as they were leaving the stage to the continued screams of their young fans.
