DNA Tour Day 15 - High Quality images and videos of Little Mix Live in London

Jesy Nelson was reduced to tears on stage last night, as the girls of Little Mix closed their concert tour in Belfast.

The former X Factor winners took to the road at the end of January, for their first ever headline UK tour and we think it’s fair to say that they enjoyed the experience.

The reviews of the concerts have been pretty much exclusively positive and after the team at Unreality TV had the chance to watch Jesy, Leigh Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall perform live last night, in Northern Ireland’s Waterfront Hall, we can confirm that all the compliments were well deserved.

The girl group have come a long way since their reality TV days and not only have their harmonies tightened and improved but their stage presence has grown too.

Little Mix performed a number of tracks from their debut album ‘DNA’ including the title song, their hit single ‘Wings’ and their latest release ‘Change Your Life.’ They also mixed things up with a few cover versions, which included Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass, TLC’s No Scrubs and Katy Perry’s E.T and of course, the track which almost seems like their signature tune En Vogue’s Hold On.

Nelson wept openly as she thanked her fans for supporting them over the last year and after the concert the ladies tweeted their fans saying:

“We can’t believe #DNATour is OVER! We’ve had SO much fun with the girls – thank you so much to the amazing fans at each show!”

The girls will now enjoy some well deserved days off, and it’s been reported that Perrie Edwards is planning to spend some of her time catching up with her One Direction boyfriend Zayn Malik.

The pair have been separated for much of the year so far, due to work commitments but they are hoping to get a bit of time together in between Zayn’s concert dates, so they can work on repairing their relationship after his recent cheating scandal.

The latest Little Mix news right here on LittleMixDaily.com - 3

Little Mix arrived for the final leg on their DNA Tour with two shows in the capital of Ireland – Dublin. The girls arrived at their hotel in the city centre late last night and opted for a casual outfit.

First up is Perrie Edwards, who looks more and more like Zayn Malik is rubbing off on her every time she leaves the house.

Going for the rocky, leather look, we are loving the high-waisted jeans, Mickey Mouse tee and the popstar way she’s refusing to take of her sunglasses despite the fact it’s pitch black outside.

What we love about Jade Thirlwall is that she doesn’t just wear an outfit and chuck it, but works things back into her wardrobe again and again.

We’ve definitely seen that rainbow tee up on stage worn as a dress, but look how great it also looks with jeans and a parka.

And then there is Leigh-Anne, who SOMEHOW makes her cuddly pink onesie look edgy and cool.

DNA Tour Day 15 - High Quality images and videos of Little Mix Live in London

Take a look at a review This Is Somerset did from a previous Little Mix gig from Bristol. The gig was given a 6/10 rating.

Colston Hall is becoming a well-worn pit-stop on the route to fame of X Factor starlets. In recent years we have seen JLS and Jedward grace this stage. Here, it was the turn of 2011 winners Little Mix.

Little Mix are a four-piece girl band made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall who hold the distinction of being the only group to have won the ITV talent show.

Signed by Simon Cowell’s Syco record label, this is Little Mix’s first UK tour and endearingly they still retain the rabbit-in-the-headlights look that they can’t quite believe that this is happening to them.

The demographic that Little Mix appeals to could be not just seen but heard, with ear-splitting screams from the predominantly young girls in the audience who had made banners and cheered when the empowering messages appeared on the screens behind their heroes.

This screen was an interesting addition to proceedings. As if the group themselves, their live band or dancers were not enough to keep the attention of their young fans, throughout the show there were videos of the foursome.

Perhaps these were just as a reminder that the same four in the flesh here in Bristol had appeared on our television screens.
There were four sets of costumes in this 80-minute set, including a cape for Edwards and at least one bow tie for Nelson, who told us in one video that she owns hundreds.

Among a few too many album fillers was an enjoyable medley of girl band songs, including TLC’s No Scrubs and Bootylicious by Destiny’s Child, which brought Little Mix’s voices sharply into focus.

There was also a cover of Ring Ring Ring by last year’s BrisFest headliners De La Soul.

Among Little Mix’s own best songs were their most recent single Change Your Life and Wings, so good that they performed it once in their main set and then again as they were leaving the stage to the continued screams of their young fans.

Review - Little Mix put on a big show in Bournemouth

Check out a new review of Little Mix performing at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth on the 15th February 2013.

From their uncertain beginnings as a group ‘thrown together’ from solo artists on the X Factor, to now packing venues in their first tour, Little Mix’s assent to fame has been swift and impressive – and their army of ‘Little Mixers’ certainly want to show how much they love them.

Part-way through their tour, the cute but feisty foursome rocked the BIC’s Windsor Hall on Saturday night with a mix of the covers that won them the X Factor (Superbass, E.T), combined with tracks from their debut album DNA.

Hip ‘girls next door’ in crop tops, baggy jeans and an endless range of ‘kickin’ trainers, they ‘kicked-off’ with We Are Who We Are, which is all about being true to how you areand ignoring ‘beautiful’ stereotypes and seems to be the ethos of this band, who list TLC, En Vogue and Sugababes as their heroes.

Indeed, they even performed a section of their show in homage to the bands which have inspired them (which many of the mums in the audience recognised more than the fans!) Sassy, not overtly-sexy, fun and giggly, but not sugary, Little Mix seem to have the right mix when it comes to combining personality, a great look and some fab vocals.

And Jesy, Leigh- Anne, Perrie and Jade also seemed to be having a great time too, with songs like Going Nowhere, Change and Red Planet getting their fans up with them on their feet throughout.

Little Mix – Big show.

DNA Tour Day 15 - High Quality images and videos of Little Mix Live in London

We all know Little Mix have a great taste in fashion, they rock just about everything they wear and are seen as a style inspiration by thousands. But what inspires their current tour costumes?

The girls rocked Brighton yesterday wearing colour co-ordinated coloured tops. Showing off the most skin, Leigh-Anne, 21, wore a bralet decorated with graffiti style writing spelling out her name.

Wearing her dark hair down in side parting, the High Wycombe born singer completed her look with pale blue baggy jeans and pink trainers.

Jade, 20, wore her trademark braces over a long sleeved white crop top beautified with images of bows and music notes.

Jesy, 21, opted to keep her stomach covered up with a black T-shirt and she strutted along the stage in harem styled jeans.

Purple haired Perrie, 19, kept her tresses out of her face with the help of a pretty plait as she also paired her top with denim bottoms.

As Edwards led the group’s vocals, she showed off her perfectly manicured nails while accessorising with several charm bracelets.

Jade has previously explained being comfortable and colourful when it comes to their fashion are the girls’ best style tips.

She said:

“I would say if you like something then put it on, that is what we do and it works for us. The stylist team they wouldn’t let us go on stage unless you are comfortable. Be colourful too, we are all about bling and colour and having fun with clothes. Life is too short to be dressed in boring clothes all the time.”

Leighanne added:

“If you have got your own individual style then go for it and don’t let anyone tell you it’s wrong. Embrace it. We have all got our own styles and kept to who we are. I think that is really important.'”

Little Mix's Jesy reportedly 'getting close' with Jay from The Mend

Although we don’t believe anything this is written in this article, we thought we’d blog it anyway. According to the Daily Star, Jesy has bagged herself “a new man”.

Apparently the pair are getting “extremely close” as the boys support Little Mix on their UK and Ireland theatre tour.

However Jay was quick to deflect any rumours in a recent interview with Daily Star:

“Jesy is lovely but we are just friends. Anyway she goes to America soon, so she’ll be away a lot.”

But his bandmate Dean Kelly added:

“Yeah they are just good friends, wink, wink.”

Needless to say, Jesy hasn’t got a new man in her life.

Little Mix impress US & Japanese label bosses at their London gig

So it not only looks like the London gig went down well with the fans, but it seems record label bosses were also impressed with Little Mix.

The plays played in front of a packed crowd in London and were reportedly praises by label bosses numerous times.

Bosses from Sony & Universal were at the gig and were both said to be keen on signing the girls.

A source said..

“Labels from the US and Japan flew over to watch Little Mix. They were really impressed with the girls, who they see as a new-age Spice Girls crossed with One Direction.”

The girls will now fly to LA after their tour to finalise any details and begin their American domination.
