FINALLY, after no numbers for the mid weeks we have now managed to get a hold of sales data for Little Mix in the past week where they were scattered all around the UK Charts.

UK Album Charts
4) Little Mix – ‘Salute’ (35,281 copies)

UK Single Charts
5) Little Mix – ‘Move’ (52,702 copies Total: 135,772 copies)
57) Little Mix – ‘These Four Walls’ (5,247 copies)
77) Little Mix – ‘Little Me’ (less than 3,000 copies)

Compared the 53,314 copies sold of DNA on its first week, the sales are disappointing. However you must bear in mind the girls went against some of the biggest acts in the world in the form of Celine Dion, Eminem and Lady Gaga.

However the sales for Move are holding on very well, only dropping 2 places from last week – looks like this one could be in the top 100 for a long time.

With the sales week coming to an end, a clear winner is becoming evident in the race for the #2 and #3 spot. Find out all below..

1) Storm Queen – “Look Right Through” (84.2k)
2) Eminem feat. Rihanna – “The Monster” (69.9k)
3) Little Mix – “Move” (62.7k)
4) Lorde – “Royals” (33.1k)
5) One Direction – “Story Of My Life” (28.9k)

Impressive sales considering they’re up against some tough competition, looks like that #3 place is cemented. Find out Sunday where they officially chart.

In the mean time you can listen to Salute in full right here.

Good news and bad news I’m afraid. We will start with the good news, their debut single ‘Wings’ has now officially gone Gold as recognised by the RIAA.

The single has been recorded as Gold for 500,000+ digital copies sold of the single, which was awarded the certification on the 12th August this year, just under a year after being released.

Little Mix go Gold

However, this comes after the estimated sales for DNA has come in; although these are only estimates, the actual number will not be far off so these give a very good indication of how well the girls are doing in the States.

187) 114,000 – WOMAN TO WOMAN by Keyshia Cole
188) 113,000 – HALL OF FAME by Big Sean
189) 113,000 – AMOK by Atoms For Peace
190) 113,000 – THE BEST OF-20TH CENTURY MASTERS… by Lynyrd Skynyrd
191) 113,000 – JOYAS PRESTADAS: POP by Jenni Rivera
192) 113,000 – DNA by Little Mix
193) 113,000 – SONGS FROM ST SOMEWHERE by Jimmy Buffett
194) 113,000 – SOMETHING ELSE by Tech N9ne

However what should be said is 113,000+ sales & a #4 album without a top 40 hit is a commendable effort. Let’s hope Salute tops that.

Other notable albums are Take Me Home at #32 (463,000) with the top seller being JT’s 20/20 Experience selling in excess of around 2.3 million copies
